Clear communication is what makes training successful

Lauren Watson has been professionally training dogs for over 10 years. Her main focus is helping owners and handlers learn effective communication with their dogs and how to address behavior issues that can result from confusion.

She is a professional member of the International Association of Canine Professionals (IACP) has attended many workshops and conferences hosted by renowned trainers to continue learning about the ever changing dog world we live in.

You always want to end your training session on a high note. This will improve your chance for success in your sessions to follow.

Lauren is a balanced trainer and uses rewards (food, toys, play etc.) and any tool that is appropriate for the individual dog. There is no "one size fits all" to dog training. Each individual dog is unique and so is their training.

Lauren's training method is focused on teaching calm and effective communication. Obedience commands are secondary. With a calm mind your dog can focus on the task at hand which makes it much easier to train commands and practice better behaviors. Clear communication is key for getting your dog to respond in a way that meets your training goals without conflict and to work with your dog, not against them.
